Celebrate the Holiday Season Caribbean Style at Four Seasons Resort Nevis

With the holidays fast approaching, Four Seasons Resort Nevis is pulling out all the stops this festive season, rolling out a wide variety of celebratory programming that spans the Resort’s 350-acre (140 hectare) playground. Greeted by blue skies, crystal clear waters, the majestic Nevis Peak and warm, welcoming smiles, guests will feel the spirit of the season from the moment they arrive at the Resort’s private pier. And the fun only continues from there, with activities incorporating Nevisian traditions, such as lantern releases, golf, tennis and pickleball tournaments, holiday-themed cooking and baking classes, yoga and meditation sessions, and much more.

“The holidays are truly one of the most magical times of the year in Nevis. It’s all about celebrating traditions, creating memories and cherishing special moments with loved ones,” says Ruby Garcia, Resort Manager. “One of my favourite things about celebrating the holidays in Nevis is seeing the island come alive, even more so than any other time of the year. We’ve captured that spirit of the season for our guests and look forward to helping to bring family and friends closer together.”

Nevis is a refreshing tropical escape during the holidays and guests will be excited to experience new offerings at the Resort as well as perennial favourites, from expansive dining options to a variety of both adventure and relaxing activities and programs.

Enhanced Recreational Spaces

This year, guests will find new spaces to play and challenge each other at the Resort’s enhanced recreational and racquet sports centre. Tennis lovers can still choose from three different tennis court surfaces, hard, clay and AstroTurf, while trendsetters will be happy to serve up some fun on four brand-new pickleball courts. The popular, fast-paced game has now found its way to Nevis and guests can challenge friends and family or take lessons with the pro to master the court of this ever-growing sport.

Guests can reserve any of the tennis or pickleball courts starting at 7:00 am for USD 65 to 105 for tennis or USD 55 per hour for pickleball, respectively, which includes the racquets or paddles.

A Garden of Serenity

The Spa at the Resort was designed to bring guests closer to nature for a truly tranquil escape for the mind and body. This full-service spa and salon offers guests everything they need to be pampered from head to toe. Couples can enjoy a romantic evening under the stars during the Spa Under the Stars experience, which includes the signature Nevisian Massage and a candlelit dinner for two. Or, if guests are looking for something more rejuvenating, the Spa now offers HyrdaFacial treatments designed to cleanse, extract and hydrate the skin leaving it smooth and moisturised. The 24-hour air-conditioned fitness centre is also available for guests at their leisure.

For the more wellness-minded guests, the Resort will also be offering fitness classes throughout the week. Classes from Zumba to core max as well as yoga, meditation and Pilates will all be available from Sunday through Thursday, from 7:30 am until 7:00 pm, with prices ranging from USD 60 to 75 per person. And for beginners, complimentary introductory classes include a Wellness Teaser every Sunday at 7:30 am at the Resort Pier and aqua aerobics on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 am in the Calypso Pool.

Kids For All Seasons

When it comes to celebrating the season, it’s all about ensuring the kids have fun while creating lasting memories. The Kids for All Seasons club gives little ones their own place to play, offering an abundance of indoor and outdoor activities, including sandman-building competitions on the beach, movie nights under the stars with s’mores and face painting and creative cooking, baking or mocktail-making classes. The kids will be so busy having fun that the parents won’t be able to pull them away from all the activities.

The holiday festivities wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Old Saint Nick. Kids and kids at heart will be filled with wonder as they await Santa’s arrival on Christmas morning at 9:00 am. Listen for the cheers and sounds as he and Mrs. Claus make their way around the Resort, bringing presents and treats for everyone.

A Taste of Nevis

At Four Seasons Resort Nevis, no guests will go to their room hungry thanks to the delectable Christmas and New Year’s buffets as well as new a la carte menus at all the restaurants, including Caribbean favourites at Mango; beachside bites at Kastaway; coastal Mediterranean fare at EsQuilina; and locally caught seafood and farm-to-table provisions at On the Dune, all of which have been crafted by the Resort’s talented culinary team and led by new Director of Food and Beverage Antoine Lhomme.

Along with delicious dining options, guests are welcome to join the chefs in the kitchen during any of the scheduled cooking classes, including a lesson in making the perfect rub for any meat with awarded Chef Rodelle Rawlins, who will teach guests his secrets to making each of his dishes so delectable. Classes are offered twice a week for USD 80 per person. Or, if rum is more of interest, guests can join Master Mixologist Kendie Williams as she shares her knowledge of rum from around the Caribbean and the world during rum tasting class offered several times throughout the week for USD 85 per person.

Playground for the Entire Family

With 350 acres (140 hectares), guests will find no shortage of places to come together or find their own personal hideaway. All Resort facilities will be available for enjoyment, including the three infinity-edge pools, which will now feature an aqua bartender so guests won’t even have to leave the pool for a refreshing cocktail or tap-up; the championship 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II golf course, where golfers can not only work on their swing, but also footwork with a game of Foot Golf, a hybrid between soccer and golf located at nine holes throughout the course; and the nearly three miles (five kilometres) of pristine beachfront with a wide array of watersports toys and activities.

Holiday Entertainment

Guests will also enjoy nightly entertainment by local bands as they sing and dance the night away. And on New Year’s Eve, guests and Resort staff alike will come together to ring in 2023 on Pinney’s Beach, where partygoers will celebrate with their toes in the sand, Champagne toasts, live music and a spectacular fireworks display.
