Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2023: May 5 – 14

Following a three-year break, the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival returns from May 5-14, 2023. This year’s edition will feature performances by Sting and Shaggy, Rema, Joe Boy, among others. 

“The 2023 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival promises to be the best yet, as we continue our tradition of hosting the Caribbean’s premier jazz and arts event. The Festival will showcase music, the performing arts, fine arts, creole cuisine, and the effervescence of Saint Lucia’s creative industries,” said Dr. Ernest Hilaire, minister of tourism.

The event features regional, international, and Caribbean music. Afro beats, jazz, gospel, soca, reggae, zouk, and pop are among the cultural beats and rhythms represented. The Pigeon Island National Park will serve as the backdrop for outdoor performances.

Beginning on 5 May, there will be community-based events throughout the island, with a focus on the jazz and arts scenes in important areas. Additional details will be announced with the following dates as scheduled:

  • May 14 – Sunday – Ultimate Celebration

The arts portion of the festival will take held from May 7-11 under the theme “Art and the City” It will feature visual art, literary art, drama, fashion, an Icon Series, artisan, and souvenir markets, as well as a variety of events at Derek Walcott Square, William Peter Boulevard, Constitution Park, Pointe Seraphine, and Serenity Park.

Since 1992, the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival has hosted a variety of music-related activities that draw tourists from around the world. The event showcases international, Saint Lucian, and Caribbean music during a week of indoor and outdoor performances.

The ticket sale begins on February 15, 2023.
