Riverside Luxury Cruises Adding Four New Ships To Its Fleet

Riverside Luxury Cruises, a new river cruise operator owned by the German hotelier Seaside Collection, has added four ships to its fleet.

Before going bankrupt, Crystal Cruises designed and operated the Bach, Ravel, Mahler, and Debussy cruise ships. Riverside Luxury Cruises will be able to expand its routes to the Rhine, Rhône, and Saône rivers with the addition of these ships, whose names will now contain the prefix “Riverside.”

In April 2023, Riverside Luxury Cruises will launch Danube River voyages aboard the Riverside Mozart. In 2023, the Riverside Ravel will navigate the Rhone and Saône rivers, while the Riverside Debussy will navigate the Rhine. The launch dates for the itineraries for Riverside Bach and Riverside Mahler have been planned for 2024 and will be revealed later this year.

The ships’ butlers will provide 24-hour room service, and each ship will have its own team of sommeliers and bartenders. Guests will be invited to explore the river and its surroundings through a variety of onboard and ashore wellness activities.

Riverside Luxury Cruises’ founder, Gregor Gerlach, is ecstatic with the acquisition of these historic vessels as the addition of the four ships allows the cruise line to increase the number of itineraries offer while promising to maintain an unparalleled level of luxury, spaciousness, and personalized service.
