Grande Lakes Orlando – ‘Grande’ New Experience Awaits!

Grande Lakes Orlando, the 500-acre luxury resort destination in the Florida Everglades anchored by The Ritz-Carlton Orlando and JW Marriott Orlando, has completed its “grande” new waterpark experience. Following a multimillion-dollar property-wide remodeling effort that included both hotels, this new waterpark invites guests and families to an upgraded aquatic experience with attractions and amenities for all ages.

The newly reconfigured and expanded Grande Lakes Waterpark at JW Marriott Orlando now features six distinct zones, including a signature lazy river, Headwaters Slide Tower with three waterslides, Aquaventure obstacle course with climbing and slide features, and Oasis, a celebrated restaurant, and VIP firepit lounge. Separate areas are meant to encourage family fun or more isolated relaxation, and visitors may also enjoy an abundance of private, full-service cabanas and daybeds. The 12 private cabanas range in elegance from simple loungers to high-end cabanas with furnishings, multimedia consoles, and private plunge pools. For added comfort, 26 poolside and swim-up daybeds line water features and fire pits. The Grande Lakes Waterpark, which has been perfectly integrated into the resort to boost its outdoor setting, is likely to become a main draw for adventurous guests.

Guests can enjoy newly upgraded aquatic fun at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando in addition to the enhanced waterpark experience at JW Marriott Orlando. With its recent restoration, the hotel debuted a new Solaire heated pool surrounded by luxury poolside cabanas. The 12 private cabanas have a butler, wireless internet, HDTV, a refrigerator, and other amenities. Adults can find peace and quiet at the award-winning Ritz-Carlton Spa’s adults-only lap pool and hot tub.

Extra Poolside Indulgence

Grande Lakes Orlando welcomed a new poolside dining choice, Knife Burger, at JW Marriott Orlando, to enhance the waterpark experience. Guests may savor award-winning Chef John Tesar’s inventive and casual cooking here, whose on-site restaurant, Knife & Spoon, just received a MICHELIN star. Guests can mix their choice of burger with crispy fries or a delicious milkshake to take their pool day snack game to the next level, using meat sourced from high-quality Texas-raised cattle at 44 Farms. Smartphone poolside eating will also be available, allowing visitors to order the latest Knife Burger bits and beverages with simplicity via the mobile app. As the day comes to a close, guests are invited to the upgraded lobby bar, EvrBar, for specialty drinks, craft beers, and late-night light nibbles, all while enjoying panoramic views of the waterpark through floor-to-ceiling windows.
